Day 1 - Travel Day
Early morning flight to get to Maui mid-afternoon.
Pick-up rental car
Stopped by Walmart to get extra water and snacks for the week. (101 Pakaula St, Kahului, HI 96732)
Drive to Kaanapali to check in to the Sheraton Maui Resort (2605 Kaanapali Pkwy Lahaina, HI 96761)
Settled into room and explored the hotel grounds
Walked from resort to Wailers Village and ate at Maui Poke (2435 Kaanapali Pkwy H-20, Lahaina, HI 96761) then explored the general area.
Day 2 - Exploring Day
Drove to an explored the Punalau Beach Area (approximate address: 615 Honoapiilani Hwy, Lahaina, HI 96761
Drove to Honolua Bay Access Trail and walked trail to the beach (approximate address: 6860 HI-30, Lahaina, HI 96761. Trailhead located across the road from Honolua Farms Kitchen.
Ate breakfast at Slappy Cakes (3350 Lower Honoapiilani Rd #701, Lahaina, HI 96761)
Drove to Old Lahaina and explored the Front Street area to include the Lahaina Courthouse and Banyan Tree and a few of the shops as well as the Honolulu Cookie Company for a quick snack. Best public parking (116 Prison St, Lahaina, HI 96761)
Returned to resort to hang out at Black Rock Beach for a few hours.
This was our wedding day, so midafternoon we spent getting ready and relaxing.

Day 3 - Lava Fields & Makena Beach
Drove to the Lava Fields. Best parking (8650 Must Hold Block Boundary, Kihei, HI 96753)
Hiked into the Lava Fields and explored the La Perouse Bay area.
Drove to and ate lunch at Monkeypod at the Wailea Gateway Center (10 Wailea Gateway Pl B-201, Kihei, HI 96753)
Drove to and spent the afternoon at Makena Beach. Parking (Parking lot on unnamed road approximately 0.5 miles south of 6600 Makena Alanui, Kihei, HI 96753)
Late afternoon drove to and ate dinner at Miso Phat Sushi (4310 Lower Honoapiilani Rd #111, Lahaina, HI 96761)
Returned to resort
Day 4 - Lao Valley, Paia, and Haleakala National Park
Drove to and attempted Lao Valley State Monument, but was closed for maintenance during our trip (54 S High St, Wailuku, HI 96793)
Drove to and explored Kepaniwa Park (870 Iao Valley Rd, Wailuku, HI 96793)
Drove to and explored Paia's Hookipa Lookout and Beach (179 Hana Hwy, Paia, HI 96779)
Ate at Paia Fish Market for lunch (100 Hana Hwy, Paia, HI 96779)
Post lunch coffee at Paia Bay Coffee Bar (115 Hana Hwy, Paia, HI 96779)
Drove to and hiked the Twin Falls Trail (6300 Hana Hwy, Haiku, HI 96708)
Drove to Haleakala Visitor's Center and then to observatory to view sunset and stayed to see the Milky Way and stars post sunset
Grabbed fast food on way back to resort.
Day 5 - Counterclockwise Road to Hana
Grabbed early breakfast and coffee at Grandma's Coffee (9232 Kula Hwy, Kula, HI 96790)
Explored southern side of island via Road to Hana
Stopped at Palapala Ho'omau Church & Charles Lindbergh's gravesite (40990 Hana Hwy, Hana, HI 96713)
Continued east on Road to Hana to Kipahulu Visitor Center
From Kipahulu Visitor Center walked to Ohe Gulch, Seven Pools, and beach overlook via lower Pipiwai Trail
Hiked Pipiwai Trail north of Hana Hwy to view Falls of Makahiku, the banyan tree, several other waterfalls, the bamboo forest, and Waimoku Falls
Unable to visit Venus Pool (no parking available when passing)
Ate late lunch at Ae's Thai Kitchen (5123 Hana Hwy, Hana, HI 96713)
Unable to visit Black Sand Beach (only take reservations to prevent overcrowding) in Waiʻānapanapa State Park
Unable to visit Hana Lava Tube (closed early) (205 Ulaino Rd, Hana, HI 96713)
Visited Hana Farms to look around and get some banana bread (2910 Hana Hwy, Hana, HI 96713)
Stopped at Coconut Glen's to get ice cream (1200 Hana Hwy, Haiku, HI 96708)
Made our way back along the northern side of the island on Road to Hana and returned to resort.
Day 6 - Snorkeling & Beach
Early morning check-in at Ma'alaea Habor for snorkeling in Molokini Bay and Turtle Cove with Calypso, breakfast and lunch served (Slip 82, South Ferry Dock, 101 Maalaea Rd, Wailuku, HI 96793)
Returned to Ma'alaea Harbor early afternoon
Returned to Makena Beach for afternoon (Parking lot on unnamed road approximately 0.5 miles south of 6600 Makena Alanui, Kihei, HI 96753)
Grabbed pies to go from Leoda's Kitchen & Pie Shop (820 Olowalu Village Rd, Lahaina, HI 96761)
Late dinner at Leilani's (2435 Kaanapali Pkwy, Lahaina, HI 96761)
Returned to resort
Day 7 - Exploring Day & Lahaina
Explored northeast part of Island, drove to Pu'u Koa'e
Unable to hike Waihe’e Ridge Trail due to heavy rain and fog (Kahekili Hwy, Wailuku, HI 96793)
Nakalele Blowhole (Poelua Bay, Wailuku, HI 96793)
Ate lunch at L&L BBQ (3350 Lower Honoapiilani Rd #4, Lahaina, HI 96761)
Returned to resort to relax by the pool/beach
Drove to Lahaina late afternoon to walk along Front Street
Fresh pineapple juice from Maui Pineapple Store (695 Front St, Lahaina, HI 96761)

Day 8 - Exploring Day & Luau
Originally going to be a beach/resort day, but we got sun burnt snorkeling, so we changed our schedule to another exploring day.
Quick breakfast at Komoda Bakery (3674 Baldwin Ave, Makawao, HI 96768)
Drove to and explored Kula Botanical Gardens (638 Kekaulike Ave, Kula, HI 96790)
Lunch in Lahaina at Down the Hatch (658 Front St # 102, Lahaina, HI 96761)
Returned to resort and relaxed

Day 9 - Travel Day
Early morning check-out, arrived early to airport to return rental car and go through agricultural inspections and security
